Situated on the iconic yet neighborhood-driven Main St on the edge of Santa Monica and Venice, Ashland Avenue and Hill Street frame the block where Ashland Hill resides. Opened in 2016, Ashland Hill is owned by fifth generation Santa Monica locals, the Verge Family and their goal was to bring the local community something the neighborhood didn’t yet have, an outdoor beer garden. The charming space seats 18 indoors within the brick-lined bar and a spacious eating area on the covered outdoor patio. The welcoming, spacious patio is lined with wood tables, heat lamps and located behind the main bar.
A place for lunch, brunch, dinner, plus social hour from 3PM-6PM daily and a late night social hour Thursday – Saturday. In addition to the wide selection of carefully curated craft beers, Ashland Hill specializes in gin with over 30 different gins and 14 specialty gin cocktails. There are 16 draft beer taps, including a rotating beer, cider, and sour. Yappy Hour is every first Tuesday of the month and features a specialty dog menu for the four-legged family members in partnership with a local dog and cat rescue related nonprofits.
